iPhone 17 Pro Repair in Tucson

Yes, we repair the iPhone 17 Pro in store. On this model, the two parts that take the most punishment in a drop are the front glass and the camera array that stands proud of the back. The 17 Pro, released in September 2025, has a 6.3-inch display under Ceramic Shield 2, three 48MP rear cameras including a telephoto with up to 8x optical-quality zoom, and a new aluminum unibody with a raised plateau across the top of the back.
That construction changes how some repairs are done, which we explain below. We don't publish an iPhone 17 Pro price list yet while parts pricing settles; the table on this page is an estimate based on the closest model we do publish, and calling (520) 477-8822 with the fault gets you a firm quote.
How the iPhone 17 Pro is built, and why it matters for repairs
Earlier Pro iPhones had a titanium band with a glass back. The 17 Pro is different: the frame and most of the back are one piece of aluminum, with a vapor chamber laser-welded inside to move heat away from the A19 Pro chip. Only a section of the back below the camera plateau is glass, and Apple calls it Ceramic Shield, rated for four times the crack resistance of the previous back glass.
Teardowns show that most internal work on the 17 Pro, including the battery, is now reached from the front, through the display, rather than through a removable back panel. The rear Ceramic Shield panel can still be replaced on its own, and behind it sits the wireless charging coil. In practice that means a battery job opens the screen side of the phone, and a cracked back is a separate, smaller repair than it looks.
Cracked camera on the iPhone 17 Pro: the cover or the camera?
With a cracked camera, the broken part is usually the protective lens cover rather than the camera module. Take a few photos in good light with each of the three rear lenses, including the telephoto: if they are sharp and correctly colored, only the cover needs replacing, which is the cheaper repair. A fixed blur, a flare in every shot, or a lens that refuses to focus means something has reached the module.
Don't wait too long, because loose fragments can score the module and turn a cover job into a camera job. Apple tracks the rear cameras under Parts and Service History in Settings → General → About, so a replaced camera module shows there; a lens cover is not a tracked part.
Screen or just the glass? Reading the damage on a 17 Pro
The same logic applies to the front. Damage confined to the outer glass and damage to the display underneath are different repairs at different prices, so we look at the phone before we quote rather than assuming the worst. Lines, a green or pink cast, flicker at low brightness, or touch that misses in one area all point to the display. The Face ID sensors are paired to the phone's own board and are moved across to the new display, never swapped from another phone. Apple notes that a display it can't verify is listed as an Unknown Part and may affect True Tone and touch.
Scuffs on the aluminum: cosmetic, not a repair
Because the 17 Pro's back is mostly anodized aluminum rather than glass, it collects scuffs and marks differently, especially around the edges of the camera plateau. That wear is cosmetic. It doesn't affect water resistance or function, and it isn't something we would sell you a repair for. A dent in the frame is different if it is near the display edge, because it can stop a new screen from seating flat.
Before your iPhone 17 Pro comes in
Back it up to iCloud or a computer if it still turns on; hardware repairs don't erase the phone, but a backup protects you if anything unexpected turns up. Bring the passcode so we can test Face ID, all three rear cameras, charging and touch once the job is done, and remove the case and any lens protectors. US models are eSIM-only, so there is no SIM tray to empty. You can walk in at our Tucson Mall store or call ahead.
