How Much Does iPhone Screen Repair Cost in Tucson? (2026 Price Guide)

Real published prices by model, the difference between glass-only and a full display, and how to tell which one your phone actually needs before anyone quotes you.

iPhone

iPhone screen repair in Tucson ranges from under a hundred dollars on older models to around $379 on the newest Pro Max, and the single biggest factor is whether you need glass only or a full display assembly. On the iPhone 15 Pro we publish $259 for glass against $279 for the complete LCD; on the iPhone 16 Pro Max, $359 against $379.

Work out which repair you need

Look at the phone with the screen on. If the image underneath the cracks is perfect — correct colours, no black areas, no lines — and touch responds everywhere including the corners, the damage may be limited to the outer glass. That is the cheaper repair.

If you see black blotches, coloured or white lines, flickering, or areas where touch does not register, the panel beneath the glass is damaged and the whole display assembly has to be replaced. So does a screen with liquid visibly under it.

The reason this matters is that some shops quote every cracked screen as a full display because it is simpler and more profitable. Checking takes ten seconds and can be the difference of a hundred dollars or more.

What drives the price

Newer panels cost more, and Pro models cost more than standard ones because of the display technology and the ProMotion hardware. That is most of the variation you will see between quotes.

The rest is parts quality. Genuine OEM assemblies cost more and carry our 1-year limited warranty covering both the part and the work. Good-quality aftermarket panels cost less and carry the standard 90-day service warranty. Neither choice is wrong; we tell you the difference and let you decide rather than quietly fitting the cheaper one.

The Face ID question

Face ID relies on hardware paired to your individual phone. A correct repair transfers those components from your original assembly onto the replacement. A rushed one does not, and once Face ID is broken that way it cannot be re-paired afterwards — not by us, not by Apple.

Ask any shop directly whether they transfer the original Face ID components. It is a fair question and the answer tells you most of what you need to know.

Repair or replace the phone?

A useful rule: if the repair costs less than a third of what the equivalent replacement handset costs, repairing is almost always the better financial decision — you keep your device, your data and your setup. On a phone that is already several years old and also has a worn battery, add the battery cost in before you decide.

Where the phone genuinely is not worth fixing, we buy handsets including damaged ones, so the old device can go toward whatever replaces it.

What to expect at the counter

Diagnostics are free and the fee comes off the repair. Most screens are same-day because we keep the common panels in stock. We are inside Tucson Mall at 4500 N Oracle Rd, Ste 204, open Mon–Sat 9am–9pm and Sun 10am–6pm, and walk-ins are fine.

Back up your phone before any repair. It is not required and we do not need your passcode for a screen, but it costs you nothing and removes the only real risk.

What the price includes

Our published figures cover parts and labour for the repair described. They do not vary by who you are or how urgent it is, and we do not add a fee at the counter that was not in the quote. Where a repair turns out to need more than the screen — a damaged display connector, for instance — we stop and tell you before doing anything else.

Diagnostics are free, and if you proceed the diagnostic fee comes off the price. If you decide not to, you owe nothing.

Signs the damage goes past the screen

A few symptoms mean the repair is larger than glass. Touch that works intermittently across the whole screen rather than in one area can indicate a connector or board fault. A phone that shows lines which change when you flex it gently has a connection problem rather than a panel problem. And a screen that went dark after a drop but still makes sounds may have a backlight fault.

All of those are still repairable. They are just not the same repair, and quoting them as a screen would be wrong.

Aftermarket versus genuine, plainly

A good aftermarket panel looks and performs close to original for most users and costs less. A genuine assembly matches original colour calibration and True Tone behaviour exactly and carries our 1-year limited warranty on the part and the work.

We stock both and we tell you which one your quote is for. Anyone who will not tell you which they are fitting is answering the question by not answering it.

Same-day, inside the mall

Most screens are finished the same day because we keep the common panels in stock — often while you finish shopping. We are inside Tucson Mall at 4500 N Oracle Rd, Ste 204, open Mon–Sat 9am–9pm and Sun 10am–6pm, and walk-ins are welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is iPhone screen repair in Tucson?
It depends on the model and on whether the damage is glass-only or the whole display. On the iPhone 15 Pro we publish $259 for glass and $279 for a full LCD replacement; on the iPhone 16 Pro Max it is $359 and $379. Older models are considerably less.
What is the difference between glass and LCD replacement?
The glass is the outer layer you touch. The display is the panel underneath that produces the image. If the picture is perfect and touch works everywhere, you may only need glass. Black patches, coloured lines or dead touch zones mean the panel is damaged too.
Can you fix it the same day?
Most screen repairs are finished the same day because we stock the common panels. If your model needs a part ordered we tell you at drop-off rather than after.
Will the repair affect Face ID?
Not when the original Face ID components are transferred from your old assembly, which is what we do. A screen swap that skips that step breaks Face ID permanently.
Do you beat other Tucson quotes?
Yes — bring us a written quote from any local shop and we will beat it by at least $10.
